Peace in our time

I've made a decision. I'm going to LITERALLY not care what happens any more. I'm not going to care if I top it, pull it, slice it or hit it fat. I'm not going to care if I take one putt or four. I'm not going to care if I leave it in the bunker or hit it in the lake or any other place. This doesn't mean I won't try. Not at all. I'll still be applying my mind to course management, to playing the percentages, to working out the optimum shot to play. But thats where it will stop. After that I am not going to care AT ALL what happens. If I walk off with 100 thats fine. If my handicap blows out to some big number, seriously, who cares? Not me. I'm just not bothered anymore. I've TRIED HARD all my life at golf and that approach has delivered nothing. NOTHING. What have I got to lose? Thats right: nothing. I just want peace and from now on I'm having it.
